My Journey of Education & life - Belal
A talented student, Belal Mohammed, another student in Erican who accepted my challenge to develop a long article about his early life and education journey. His article, with some imperfections, still is unbelievably impressive and unexpected outcome from English student in level 7 only!.
I am proud to share his work here in my blog and I hope he preserves his talent with a lot and continuous hardworking and improvement.
Dear Bilal, as I promised you, here your first article published, and as it is with your own effort and original words!; remember, Whenever you believe on yourself and you want to achieve your aim, always bear in mind "YES, YOU CAN".
Ibb, middle south region in Yemen, is beautiful region which is called the tourist capital in my country. The weather is mostly cloudy and rainy. Despite that it has a lot of high green mountains, it has also a lot of plains and valleys. The people there are very friendly and kind also, they are extremely generous. There where I grown up and started experiencing the world as a kid.

Belal
is a name chosen for me, it is the same name of one of prophet’s Mohammed loyal
disciple, and the name expresses clearly the conservative background of my
family. My father, mother, six brothers, and eight sisters were living in one house where we share love and respect.

I believe that each member of my family are ambitious and
talented, furthermore, we all have a fame in writing poetry and poems. On the
other hand, we all educated and responsible. If you ask me, I will tell you
that I admire only more my uncle Abdulkareem. besides that he is such a successful
person, he also has a sense of humor and his spontaneous smile never leaves his bright
face, and that's why, everybody loves him a lot. He has worked as a manger in one of
the most successful companies in my country. My father “who works as an assistant of minister education” adores him very much, because he has only him who still
alive.
At
the age of seven, my family where they stay in the city, had decided to to send me to stay with my elder sister in the village; who hadn’t had any children, I went to my first class in the school and for years I spent all my
childhood in the village far from my family. in the school with
mixture of boys and girls, we were
studying in my village. Despite, most of the students were poor they were also
very happy and pure. Living simply, studying hard, helping your family and
neighbors were our slogan in my village.

After many years, I completed my studies in my village. So, I had to move to the city finally in order to continue my high school, at that time there was not a high school level in my village. As adult, I was so delighted and extremely glad to meet my family once again when I move to the city. finally, I will see my mother, stay with her, and eat some bread from her hands, was speaking to myself; and realizing that few days later I will leave my village toward the city after I had been spending for nine years in the village.
With lots of happiness, I arrived to the city center of great city Taiz which contains the largest population in Yemen. The life is different here, it is not like my village, there were a lot of cars, shops, motorbikes, and many crowds. I said to myself. How fantastic! It was a new adventure for me.so, I was very amazed and everything took my attention.

After a while, my brother Marwan pick me up and drove me toward our house. It is such a beautiful bike, I said. How much does it cost you? He replied me with a beautiful smile on his face. Then, we were talking about different issues till we arrived home.
I was very passionate to see my mother.
"You have not told her that I am coming. Have you?" I asked my brother.
He replied me with a fishy and cold smile "no". "Do not worry, no one knows you are coming today except me".! He added, "I am sure that our plan is going to succeed, we both laughed devilishly".
I walked neither slowly nor fast, as if my feet walking by themselves then I knocked the door after I had requested from my brother to hide himself. After a while, my little sister opened the door and started shouting and ran toward my mother to tell her that I am here. Also, she forgot to welcome me , because she was so shocked. My mother felt extremely happy when she saw me in front of her. Then, she hugged me tightly and I did the same. It was such pleased moment.
All my siblings welcomed me and they were very glad ,too. Not only they were asking me so many questions, but they were fighting each other to sat down by my side. In that moment I felt very lucky. I can never forget that moment, they were some of happy moments in my life.
Finally, I reunite with my family again and I traveled few hundreds kilometers from my village to see them. Today, I am at the heart of one of the greatest cities in South East Asia. And after few months of studying in Erican languge center, I am now at the edge of making a major decision to choose a major to further my studies and start my degree.
After my classes here, when I am walking back home, I raise my chain up and looking impressively at the twin towers and thinking how far education and continuous hard work have made Kuala Lumpur one of the major cities in the world. And dreaming that maybe I will also be part of the success of my lovely capital city Sanaa, why not? As it always said here “yes I can”.
